anybody on here gone for the green deal registration ? I have posted it in the oil section as im oftec only, so aimed at other oil engineers. has it proved successful ? has it brought in more work etc ? im looking to expand slightly and want to make sure whatever i invest in will be worth while .

not bothered to as to much hassle and cost for to little reward.

thats all i needed to hear guys. But then i suppose if everyone had that mind set, i would be the only one registered and reaping the benefits !!!!!
no, but joking apart, it is of course another cost and income for OFTEC. Who knows, will wait till maybe next year, see how it takes off. Reading into it, The max grant one could receive is £1000. Basically a deposit for a full install ! still dont think its enough to encourage a mass renewel / update of heating systems

I posted about it in main forum other day , had a good read up about it over weekend and cant see the consumer going with it ata all
