Please can anyone advise why I am getting intermittent hot water from my Ferroli HE31C combination boiler.
I have noticed when calling for hot water, sometimes the boiler will fire up straight away, start to give hot water then show a D1 code indicating it has reached temperature. Sometimes if the water is still running, the boiler will fire up again until temperature is reached. This cycle continues until the amount of hot water required for showering or other uses is reached.
The diverter valve appears to be ok.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You need a gas Safe engineer we will not provide diy gas info.
