Cowl for a non condensing

Custard has asked me to use the following on his conventional flue for an old non condensor. Any reason why it shouldnt be ok?

Same here. But I've been wrong once or twice before. That's why I'd contact the flue manufacturer.

It is a selkirk GC1. Suitable for selkirk twin wall gas flue.

I should have known that since they make them a mile away, but I cant buy them from there as they send them to city or plumb centers main warehouses then back to city or plumb center 15 miles away and i have to drive to them for all my flues! Mad world!

Depends what appliance its for?
