hi all quoted to fit boiler the problem is the soil stack is 800mm from where boiler is but it is an internal cast iron one that's boxed in the sink is also near but the waste from sink is copper to the cast soil and I cant get to change this to plastic .I can just about remove a small section of boxing at the base of the soil and can get 2 hands in is there anything that will connect if I drill the soil . was thinking soak away but the ground outside is clay and does not drain

It's not ideal to go into the copper or cast as it will corrode you can install a neutraliser but you will have to change every 12 months. the best option is a soak away just make bigger or extend to a more suitable place.

A neutraliser is a least an ongoing replacement with the annual service, put it in all together client should be happy.

Going into the cast or copper shouldn't be much of a issue as it will have the basin and anything else that's on the stack flushing it through.

There's a TB about going into cast. Not a problem if it's below the highest appliance.
