Hi,

Doing a DIY central heating install mostly in speed fit but need to put in some air vents. Because of space only manual ones will fit, but as they need to be soldered and i have no experience of soldering, is there any reason i cant use draincocks instead?

Thanks

No as where will the air build up

Thanks Shaun and Jon. As always its in a tight space so i'll see if i can fit the air vent you linked Shaun, but if not i'll go down the drain cock route. Has anyone ever tried these?
Finger air vent
