Hi all, I'm looking into re-training as a plumber/gas engineer at the ripe old age of 39, however as the fast-track courses can be costly, and not always certain to give necessary work experience, can anyone tell me what the British Gas training is like, and also if they're likely to recruit soon. I've looked on their site but nothing currently available.

I just checked my area on HERE and that also said there wasn't anything available. Though I'm not sure what their training is like.

Cheers Dan, thay have their own training centres so I presume the trainings ok, just a case of waiting for a vacancy. With them having several training centres you'd think they must need to recruit a lot.

i had a british gas bloke round two weeks ago and was told they are not recruiting for the next six months?? his words not mine
