Scrap it and start again. Check the pins inside as well, bet they are knackered too.

Its where the dry fire thermistor fits , christ knows what the gunge is though.

The pins only failed on the very early icos / isar.

The pins that hold the burner in position?

The ones inside. Lift the burner lid and they are earth pins. The thumbs up is a like now. Don't think there is a thank you icon anymore
