Hi all,
Quick query, if you were to remove an aerjec and re-pipe without it would the following be correct:
Primary flow coming out of floor in ac tee off (centre) to pump and top of tee to open vent. This would mean the vent would be on the negative side of the pump. As for the cold feed tee this into the primary flow or return.
I've piped loads in but never really thought about removing one.

Vent on negative side of pump, cold feed in between the two. Vent and cold feed within 150mm of each other.

So on this open vented system you can't tee the cold feed into the return due to the 150mm.

It must be as above. The cold feed is there to stop air pulling down the expansion. It's in the instalation instructions on all manufacturers boilers. Open vented obviously. Putting it in the return is a very old obsolete method.

So basically if you pipe the cold feed into vent then join the primary flow your sorted.

Brilliant, nice one leo21, appreciate it. Subject is now closed.
