I am soon to complete my C&G Level 3 plumbing certificate. Can I go straight on to complete my ACS or do I need to complete a level 2 or 3 NVQ?

As above u will need nvq first but it is helpful to start building up evidence for your portfolio though! I'm sure this can't harm? I maybe wrong as I myself am just doing level 3 and also my nvq 2 at same time.

no n.v.q. requirments for a.c.s.just a working knowledge of the gas industry and evidence of that.not really for people new to the industry, but like any thing else were there's a will there's a way

As above. You can do your ACS without your NVQ. It doesn't seem right to me but that's the way it is.

cat 3 is suppose to be extensive evidence, someone who knows it backwards but hasnt got the qual, wrongly used by newbies, shouldnt be done but it can be done so is exposed, i consider it a loop hole
