Just been to wickes in MAIDSTONE this morning and they have a trolley full of 28mm copper they are selling for £80+ VAT per bundle. I picked up 2, TB eye probably have about 6 or 7 left. It’s by the checkouts, absolute bargain if you need it

I think in most peoples eyes a full bundle is 30m, or 10no 3m tubes. Where are you regularly buying 6m lengths of pipe from?

That was way back in the day when CHK was a nipper and it came more commonly in 6m lengths. The old fella at work told me the same. I suppose old habits die hard.

However, yes I would immediately understand a full bundle to mean 10 x 3m lengths these days.

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks

Hi, basic question, any insight much appreciated. Looking to have an outdoor tap in my front porch fed from 15mm pex coming up from suspended floor. Pic 1 is inside porch, pex temporarily clipped to give an idea of pipe placement (ignore shoddy blockwork of booted cowboy builder!), Pic 2 is...

Copper pipes, I think its fair to say, is not what it used to be, the copper is getting thin while the cost is going up. Meanwhile, plastic Pushfit seems to be getting better and better, cost and convenience was always better, but now the quality is to, have we reached a stage where plastic will...
