Yeah, 360 a day, what is a plumbers day??Depends where you are. But we’re billing out at £300+VAT per day per man, plus your materials. So it’s probably not a million miles away.
3 days for 1 man?
NO, no soil vent, but there are easy options for discharge i would think...
What do you mean by sealing?
I see. Wasnt going to bother pressurising the heating tbh. At present anyway... is this the best way to go?Expansion vessel and filling loop for the heating system instead of a f and e tank
Why high chance of what pumping over??What do you mean by sealing?
Why high chance of what pumping over??
Sorry boss, you lost me.....am i right in thinking the f+e tank needs raising as high as possible above the cylinder??You haven’t much head from the top of the cylinder coil and bottom of the f and e tank at present you have around 2.4m ish with a cylinder in the loft maybe 1-1.5 m max
This isnt possibleYes you want a min of 2m above the coil of the cylinder to the bottom of the f and e tank
Cws tank to current vented cylinder....yes.Think of your current height and coil height bet that’s over 2m
Its mad...things are going to crash soon...people simply arnt earning enough to pay the trades going ratesEasier just to seal as @ShaunCorbs says. No point going to the effort to raise the tank.
£360 is up North, so £450 South West is probably not bad
Don't forget, pay cheap pay twice. Good labour costs.
