I have a leaky Aqualisa Aquarian, about 10 yrs old. I can source the correct cartridge for this, but am not entirely sure about fitting it.
I know that the cartridge is a push fit over the two short copper tails showing through the tilework, and I should use some silicone grease when refitting...

I will be fitting a 1700 by 800 shower tray in a recess. It weighs (I think) about 55kg. I will need to bed on mortar on raised plinth. Obviously I shall have to enlist an extra pair of hands . Problem is how do I position it on a bed of mortar, in a recess and level it?? Access from front...

After showering in our new walk in shower, the pump that takes the water away leaves a centimeter of water visible inside the shower tray drain. (Please see picture below)
Is this normal? We are worried that since water is permanently lying in the drain recess that it will start to become...

Hi
Fitting a shower tray with a fast flow compact trap & space between joists is very limited, what is the general opinion on using a 40mm flexi pipe to connect ? Are they OK
Thanks
I am installing a new slimline plastic shower tray onto upstairs floor boards. Does the floor need re-enforcing under building regulations? or is the just for heavy resin trays?

Can anyone tell me the ideal way to secure a slimline shower tray to floorboards in a new upstairs bathroom?
my thoughts were:
-silicon, with small spacers to achieve level
-gripafix
-pink thistle plaster
but i'm not sure which would be most effective; and correct?
any ideas?

Hi - My bathroom, plaster to plaster is 143cm. I would like to install a 900x900 shower and 500mm washbasin, leaving only 3cm! Is this enough for tiling, or I am trying to cram in too much? 800x800 shower is pretty small, as is 450 basin. Thought maybe a little of the 900x900 would go into the...

Hello, I have a blocked shower tray.
The whb waste is tee'd into it as every time you drain the whb the water bubbles up through the showertray waste and then doesnt drain.
I cant get access to the wastepipes as they are boxed in, nor can I remove the showertray trap as it is under the floor.
I...

Hi, I've just moved into a new apartment and it doesn't have a shower. It does have a bath, but I can't install a shower above it because of a low sloping roof.

Hi I have just had my bathroom extended and a shower enclosure fitted. A 'rapid flow' drain/trap has approx 2 metres of pipe where it joins the pipework of the original bath drain, then another metre or so to the outside wall. The gradient of the drop seems fine. All is ok until shampoo or soap...
