motorised valve
The Motorised Submersible Canoe (MSC), nicknamed Sleeping Beauty, was built by the British Special Operations Executive (SOE) during World War II as an underwater vehicle for a single frogman to perform clandestine reconnaissance or attacks against enemy vessels.
I have been advised by two plumbers but both say different things. I paid one £500 to do some work which was ok but I still have a problem. Can anyone here help me please so I can decide which of these guys is right?

I have recently replaced my old hot water cylinder as the old one was leaking.
The system is an indirect type, using gravity feed to heat the hot water and a pump for the 7 radiators.
The original hot water tank was very old and allowed the boiler hot water circuit (i.e. the water circulating...

Hi to everyone.
My central heating system is an 8mm microbore system, over 17 years old, with 11 radiators attached. Quite recently I noticed that occasionally the heating does not come on when the temperature drops. The thermostat clicks in, the boiler clicks as though it is about to fire up...

Hi Can anyone help me understand how to do the following -

I've got a Potterton Profile 80E about 10 years old. All working ok. All the rads have trv's and there is a Honeywell CH/HW timeclock for on/off operation.
I want to fit a roomstat as well. Where do I connect this to on the boiler?
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks, Gerry

Hi,
We have just had underfloor heating installed in our extension. It connects directly to Boiler via manifold. Problem is when UFH comes on (via it's own Timer/program) all of our CH rads come on i.e. it overrides our CH Program/timer. So UFH and CH are not working independently and CH just...

I have a problem with the actuator on a 3 port motorised valve in our system. 2 years ago a plumber installed a Salus MV322 - 3 Port Motorised Valve in 22mm. 1 year on when the system clicked from hot water to heating, it made an awful noise. Clunk! even waking the kids when it...
