I bought a new washing machine, it had bad water hammer and started leaking from the inlet valve (plus a couple of other issues) so I exchanged it for the same model. The new one seemed fine at first but after a couple of washes has water hammer. Is the problem with the machine do you think, or my pipes? If the latter, would a water hammer arrester attached to the machine be the best option?
I never had water hammer with my old machine BTW
Thank you for your help

Dont know why but this is becoming a regular thing with washing m/c`s. A small shock arrester should stop the hammer.
