Rough guess guys on what you would want on labour only to do the following,

Remove old bath ,bog, basin and radiator,
Rip up floor relay with 18 mm ply
Refit bath ,bog basin and victorian style rad,
Tile around bath and basin splash back
tile floor
Average size bathroom .

Waste to be removed by yourself ,

No skips or hippo bags allowed on property ..

Rough guess if you can on labour please

Labour, skip, timber, pipe .
I dont really d bathrooms so might be way off but:
Tiler £600
Skip £200

I would be close on 3k you would be a day moving rubbish / finishing off

Weeks worth of work

Put in a price 1850 which I thought was cheapish.
Came back I was the dearest .

Scratch my head sometimes as to if people actually want to earn money

I would tell them that's your price and you believe that's value for money. I bet you get the job. Also that if you cannot have a skip or hippo bag on site that they remove all the waste themselves. I do not tile and would want at least £2000 if I am honest.;)

You are a bit cheap bud i now charge £2500 for a average bathroom install but for that i do all the prep work , tiling and fitting working on one now they can take 10 to 12 days to turn round . Cheers kop

Straight forward bathroom that.
I would allow 7-8 days at your day rate. Who is supplying materials for moving and fitting the sanitary ware? If it's you , I would allow another £200 on top.
When I can't get a skip at a customer house. I get one at mine, so it's £180 on top of the price.
All in I would be £2185 + vat.

A weeks work at most so £1850 is a lot for labour even if you get a skip at home (£200)

I think that's not a bad price at all stick to your guns ....we can all be busy fools...brum

I was stupid enough not to check the position of the pipes under the tiles when installing a toilet and drilled right through the center of a 16 mm copper water pipe. I exposed the pipe by removing a ~30cm section of the plastic sleeve and a ~10 cm section of the pipe around the hole. Several...

Hello all, I’m replacing a concrete paving slab patio in the back yard. The original patio used 50mm deep concrete slabs on hardcore & sand. I’m planning to pour a 100mm deep concrete patio on 100mm hardcore. In order to achieve the same final height to line up with the rest of the patio, I...

Hi all. Hope you have all been keeping well. A while back I decided I only wanted to fit one brand of boiler and decided on Viessmann due to space for servicing and changing parts if ever needing to. I am finding my decision rather hard due to the different clearances on flue runs and cupboards...
