I've just had the boiler fitted and it came with the next controller which is fine. I wanted a manual switch that we were told we could get to add to the boiler. The timeswitch 150. I ordered it and the electrician fitted it but it won't turn the heating on as it should. Is the nest system overriding it or have we missed something? When it was plugged into the facisa we could hear the clock part clicking away.

Need to keep the nest system as this is required for it to comply with regulations (boiler plus)

also the electric shouldn’t of removed the cover as that’s a gas engineers job

The electrician was from the people who fitted the boiler. He couldn't understand it. Wasn't sure if the Nest overided it. Brother hates the fact that Next doesn't have the fifteen minute slots.
