Discuss radiator valve that can't be opened. in the USA area at PlumbersForums.net

Hi there,

I recently moved in a new house and there is a radiator that can't be opened.

There is no head on the valve and I can't opened it with a pair of pliers.

here is what the valve look like.

does it need a special head to be open like a TRV or does it happen that sometimes that valve get really stuck?

That’s a lockshield prob already open check the other side
 
Other than a decent pair of grips nope
