Filled up a large heating system yesterday and one of the rad wouldn't heat up and also the towel rail.
Most of the pipework is Polyplumb which I has been installed. I managed to trace the pipework back and found 2 of the black 15mm pipe stiffeners to have no hole in. Half a days work to trace and change. I just hope I haven't missed any on other jobs.

Glad it's not just me that has had an issue with Polyplumb, had one blow off due to a faulty grab ring, held up for 4 mths , pulled rep about it, says they don't get any faulty fittings as they are all checked at the factory, they are not responsible once they leave factory, they have a list of get out clauses longer than the Chanel tunnel, blame the outlet you get it from, the way that you store them, or just blame you.

your not the first to find this koz and you wont be the last (not made in the uk)

We run a community village hall and have a large kitchen provided for the use of hirers. This includes a Lincat SLR9 gas cooker which I believe is a 23.8Kw appliance with all six burners and oven on max. This was installed some 10 years ago and has passed all subsequent Gas Safety inspections as...
