I have a polyplumb Pb pzp thermostat. Having changed the batteries the thermostat is now locked. I’ve followed instructions but it won’t unlock. Advice please
Bought a Polyplumb 22mm Spigot Elbow (PB1022) today, I intend fitting the male section into another Polyplumb fitting. I normally use the black pipe stiffeners (PB6422) however they don’t fit into the male section of the spigot.
My question is simple is there a different stiffener type for the...
Which out of these 2 is cheapest. I always thought polyplumb was cheaper but I seem to be paying a fortune for it. I can even buy 15mm elbows cheaper at b&q.
Just drove 30m to a emergency call out, water through ceiling. The landlords handyman installed a new bathroom last year, silly get hasn’t tightened the hot polyplumb tap connecter. It has a fibre washer... is this normal? I wouldn’t know, as I don’t use plastic.
Thanks
I have a grey polyplumb elbow that I need to remove one of the pipes from to replace it with a longer length.
I assume ideally I would use one of the component kits on the new piece of pipe, however, I have a new unused straight coupler and I wonder if it is acceptable to take the end of one...

Filled up a large heating system yesterday and one of the rad wouldn't heat up and also the towel rail.
Most of the pipework is Polyplumb which I has been installed. I managed to trace the pipework back and found 2 of the black 15mm pipe stiffeners to have no hole in. Half a days work to trace...
I'm chasing solid floor and inserting 22mm grey polyplumb pipe for central heating. Any advice on what I use to protect the pipe from screed? Do I use the grey climaflex sponge type insulating material used for copper pipe ? If so, with 22mm pipework, the chasing would have to be so much deeper...

I'm having an en-suite redone, part way through, and I've noticed that the plumber has put in mainly flexible (PB) pipes, with push fit (polyplumb) fittings. I was a bit surprised, since I thought normally most of the pipes would be copper with welded joints. So my questions are:
1. Is it...
We are putting 14mm enginereed wood flooring on top of a polyplumb overlay lite heating system. (Free Your Walls >> Overlay Lite)
The overlay lite is made of what looks like styrofoam covered with aluminium foil. Is there any need to put additional underlay below the floors? Also would it...
Does anyone use many of these fittings? Got bags of various size elbows, couplers, tees, reducers all in never opened bags I'm gonna put on eBay in a couple of weeks. Stuff left over from previous jobs. Changed direction slightly career wise so not likely to use them anytime soon and can't see...
Just been looking on the back of a reel of polyplumb pipe and noticed it said you cannot use it on an oil fired sealed system. Whats the reason behind this?

New build estate and my 4th polyplumb blow off, pipework in loft an unclipped tangled mess, everytime they turned off a tap this tee wobbled and eventually worked loose, or it wasn't tightend in the first place.

Just happen to read the instructions on a reel of polyplumb pipe and noticed that you cannot use a h.w.s return on the system if you use plastic pipe. They cover themselves by adding that domestic systems are not allowed to use it either. I"ve installed loads of systems in plastic with a return...
