Bit late as we are half way through 😩 but just wondering if I’ve had my pants taken down or this is reasonable (well the norm with supply and demand of work at present) All was ok until I got talking to a few lads at work and they thought it was excessively steep. Struggled getting quotes as everyone seems insanely busy and our builder kept being delayed on previous job due to material issues couldnt give an exact start date. This I think put most people off. So Just for my piece of mind/ sanity how does this look?

Supply and install radiators and valves included ,all 600mm tall
1.4 x single X1
1.4x double x 1
1.2 xdouble X1
1.2 x p plus X4
800mm X1
900mmx1
Total cost parts and labour £1680

Supply and install shower stack to bathroom, shower room and ensuite
Parts and labour £650

First and second fix to bathroom, shower room and ensuite and first fix kitchen only
£5000-no tiling and no white goods included

Supply and install 210l unvented cylinder
Move boiler into adjacent room(keep existing boiler)
Remove existing tanks
Connect up central heating and stat
First and second fix utility
£2650

It looks in the ball park don’t forget rads have gone up 25% in the last year we’re they replacing rads or new instal?

I'm an amateur but that seems reasonable. What area are you in?

It would be interesting to think if the lads are thinking ore COVID prices, or even before that.

The 5k perhaps seems largest but really hard to understand how much work in that with no pics etc. Is it new build or adjusting stuff?

Cheers,

Roy

Agree with above. Always difficult to say without seeing the job but a lot needs doing and all the prices seem fair to me from the description. You also get what you pay for, so hopefully done properly once it saves you in the future.
