Discuss No Hot water in Taps, but central heating working in the USA area at PlumbersForums.net

Hi, I have a Glowworm Flexicom 18hx condensation boiler. I'm not getting hot water in the taps, but the central heating is working fine. The engineer came from the insurance company and said that I was missing a 'hot water controller'. So he said he can't do anything and left.
So, 1) I've got the boiler, on which I set the water temperature, 2) I got the thermostat where I set the schedule for central heating. I got no more controls. Am I missing some controls?
This set up has been working for past 7 years, so I don't know what is this new controller this person is talking about?
Can anyone who has worked on Glowworm Flexicom kindly comment? Do i actually need this new controller? If yes, what is it for?

Thanks in advance.
