Hang on! Your poor nephew mangles his finger, and you take photos. Top man, I never would have thought of that.

It wouldnt have been a proper thread without photos :)

What were they going to do in surgery?

That`s gonna hurt in the morning!

They've advised against plastic surgery, as they find that it's best to "dremel" down the bone then leave alone so the skin may grow around the bone.
They say the nerves will grow back after a 6-12 month time period.
The white bit you see in the photograph is the finger bone.
It was when my nipper said,"Tom I've found the rest of your finger in the glove!" and then passed the glove to Tom, that Tom's legs went.
I picked Tom up after surgery, he's in agony, especially so when I went into one or two potholes.
Some people just don't appreciate a lift home.

Thats what they said to me after I shredded a finger when a wine bottle shattered when I was removing the cork.

That was 25 years ago, and the feeling never did come back.

I'm used to protecting it now, but for years I would burn that finger when cooking, and only realise that I had burnt it by the smell of cooking meat...couldnt feel a thing.

Only you could have a "wine" injury!

When I was 17 I took a big slice out of the side of my finger (the top 25mm) right down to the bone. Still see where the finger is tapered on one side but tell him all feeling in the finger came back.

Lost a bit of thumb on a bacon slicer when I was 17, didn't hurt it was that sharp !!

only one thing with more nerves than a finger and you wouldnt want to take the tip off that!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thought you had a butler for all that?

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...
