I saw a post in Hall of Shame thread where a Warix flange was used. Never heard of that one before - what is it used for? Is it just that it is larger and therefore better for high flow rate, such as a pumped shower?

that's about it. the warix has shower takeoff on the top with hot water off the side, surrey is opposite way round and the Essex is fitted into the side of the cylinder and very much squeaky bum while doing it lolThe warix/surrey/essex flanges/fittings are to be used with a pumped shower/outlet using a dip pipe to take the water from lower down the cylinder to prevent air from being sucked into the pump
I'm sure someone else will be along shortly to expand on my simple explanation or correct me if im wrong
