Hoping one of you guys can help with this strange problem I having.

Installed a thermostatically controlled shower mixer, now it's a cubik duel shower so from the shower there is a temperature control knoband adiverter knob that allows me to select either shower fill or bath fill. Shower works fine both temp and flow but yesterday when filling the bath my wife attempted to change the temp and as she turned the knob the water just shut off to the bath. As I said the shower works great and for 9 months so has the bath until now.

Now when I turn to bath fill there is a thud from pipework next to valve but that's it no water.

FYI I have replaced thermostat cartridge and stripped diverter and it turns freely

Any of you guys have an idea of how you fix this it be much appreciated.

Thanks.

At 9 months old I'd be contacting the manufacturer under warranty.

Fair point Mike but iam hoping not to have to remove the valve. Do you think a blockage could be to blame as everything seems to be working within the valve itself or is that wishful thinking?

Cheers

I have a plumber coming tomorrow to change a cartridge on a badly dripping tap on my bathroom mixer unit. There is no separate isolating valve for this tap so I'll have to close the stopcock. I tried closing it today but it won't go absolutely 100% closed and there is still a very slight flow...
