Been to this boiler as it had a leak on the prv.

been back again as its still dropping pressure, prv is tight, no leaks in the house,i have checked everywhere and its baffled me as to where it can be, i checked the main exchanger, nice and dry.

i disconnected the filling loop to make sure it wasn't coming from there and that to is dry and left it for a few days and that's all clear.

Could it be the diverter or secondary plate exchanger from inside?

Any help or ideas on where to look would be a great help.

Isolate the boiler overnight and then check the pressure when you turn the iso's back on in the morning, should point you in the right direction as to whether it's the boiler or system

As above
If it was the plate the system pressure would equalise with the mains (prv obviously at 3 bar would open if the main was above that )

OK the boiler has been turned off for a few days with the flow and return valves shut off, he came back today and pressure has dropped to zero, no water from the prv, is it pointing to expansion vessel?

i can't think of anywhere else it could go

Likely main heat ex kuffed and system water entering combustion chamber (through split in wall) then running out the condense
EDIT as said above :wheelchair:

Hello, I am seeking some advice, I have a POTTERTON PROMAX 28 COMBI Boiler and I noticed yesterday that the water around the house is no longer warming up. The heat exchanger has been changed 6 months ago, so I do not believe it is that. Does anyone have any ideas on what it could be? Thanks

Every two weeks or so I have to go and top up the system because the hot taps are running cold. Boiler display is flashing 0.6 bar and I fill up to 1.3. I've had an engineer look inside the boiler and he can't see anything wrong. I've checked the pipes all over the house and cannot see any...

Hi all I'm hoping someone can shine a light on this for me Since our stop tap on the pavement has now been filled with sand for whatever reason, we are relying on our property fitted stopcock (this is outside on our garage wall) Unfortunately turning this to the closed position only reduces...

Ideal Logic 24, Previous problem was that the hot water was only cold or barely warm if the heating was in use. If heating was off and boiler cold then would get hot water most of the time. Changing the flow cartridge about 2 years ago (when I moved in) solved this problem enough to suffer it as...
