Hi Fellow tradesmen and experts, I am an electrician and well used to fault finding. My partners Ferroli Compact 24 developed a fault last night and displayed F5 fault. I don’t hear the fan or igniter coming in and needless to say no hot water. It’s about 7years old and been serviced ever year .
I wouldn’t dream on any gas or boiler work but would like some advice as an electronic and electrical engineer if you guys think I should tackle this fault. I understand it could be the fan and fan switch ??????
Any advice would be greatfully received, I don’t have the circuit at the moment .
Thanks Roger Luke ( the GW3XJC user name is my ham radio call sign of 50 years)

TBH no best get a pro out to sort the issue or direct from manufacturer if you want to

Also don’t take the cover off as this forms a seal

Thread closed due to gas

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
