I have a Worcester Greenstar Heatslave 12/18 boiler that has been working fine. I started putting the central heating on recently, but it doesn't seem to work properly. I have the hot water set to off, and only put it on as and when I need to, but I have put the central heating on timer. However, the heating only comes on when I turn the water on. Even if I set the central heating to 'on' constant, nothing happens unless I turn the hot water to 'on'. Not much point in a timer for the heating if I have to be there and turn the water on for it to work!!! What am I doing wrong!
