Hello,
I'm installing my first Belfast/butler kitchen sink. It came with the waste and stainless steel drain. To my surprise the kit only has one washer in which the instructions clearly state that it should be placed underneath the sink. My question is, shouldn't there be a washer between the stainless steel drain and the sink make of Earthenware? The installation kit-inventory definitely has just the one washer. It's quite big and will probably do the job? Should i purchase a washer or just put some silicone between the sink and drain?

Thanks very much.
Regards

Tezzer

No doesn’t come with one small bead of silicon or some plumbers putty wouldn’t harm
