I have a Grundfos UPS2 fitted and its become very loud humming when heating comes on, airing cupboard outside bedroom so not ideal
It stops after 15mins as the waters warmed up so my thinking is the pumps on its way out?
When fitting the Grundfos UPS3 are people leaving it on the factory...
Hey guys, hope you're all good
My macerator is making a strange noise which is hard describe so below is a link to a video to make it easier to understand the noise. You can hear the noise at around 10 seconds! I've checked inside the tank and assessed the motor and everything seems clear. The...
Hi, I'm new to this forum so I hope I've posted this in the right place. I installed a Grundfos UPS2 15-50/60 (part number 98334549) circulating pump into my oil fired central heating system 4 years ago. Recently on the boiler firing up the pump has not started, there is an intermittent...
I’ve got an old grundfos 15-60 130 selectric that’s getting replaced as it’s on the fritz.
I have had lowara ecocirc pumps fitted for ufh on all 4 floors and think they are great.
I would like to replace the grundfos with a lowara ecocirc as well.
Would a 25-6 130 work in this case.
thanks...
Just had a Grundfos UPS3 installed, replacing old UPS.
Working well, but I wish to understand a little bit more about the Proportional Pressure (PP) mode
If I run it in Constant Curve (or Speed) mode, CH & HW are fine, pump running.
If I go to PP mode CH & HW outputs are still fine.
BUT, the...

Hi all
I own a Grundfos Sololift 2 and today today the macerator has been behaving odd. It seems to run for a long time (at least a minute) to flush the waste after I used the toilet. Also it has become very sensitive and even turns on more often when I run the tap. I'm wondering if you guys...
I have a Grundfos MQ series domestic pump and it has started cycling on and off. The pressure at the outlet reaches approx 2 bar of pressure and the pump shuts off. The pressure then immediately drops as it overflows out of the Pressure Relief valve. Once the pressure gets to 1.5 bar the pump...
I've noticed my downstairs radiators haven't been coming on this week (I know- it's august- this is for drying clothes!). I'll check the motors are running after work tonight and bleed the rads, but after looking into the set up of my airing cupboard, which as you can see from the picture is a...
My GRUNDFOS ALPHA2 L 15-60 has developed a fault and I'm struggling to find a replacement to enable a simple swap. Would the Grundfos Alpha 1 15-50/60 be a suitable alternative? I'm hoping to simply remove the faulty one and install this without having to do any further work!
Many thanks in...
The above pump is showing all of it's lights on screen and is flickering without the pump actually working. The boiler also seems to not be firing up as it should making a lot of noise when it does try to (or at least the pipes above it do).
Is this a pump issue or a boiler one?
Thanks for any...
Hi folks be glad of some help with this as its puzzling me.🤔
I have an Alpha 2 15-60-130 pump serving 12 Rads with thermo valves and Hot Water cylinder. The boiler is an Alpha CD18R
Since I had another rad installed downstairs I've noticed the heating pump has been noisier than usual ie...
As per title I have a water booster and it is now broken but I am not sure I can have heating on as it may be topped up by the booster. The booster was for taps and 2 power showers so no no showers and only a trickle from cold less from the hot. Its an oil fired CH system with a condensing...
Hi, I have a Grundfos UP15 42RUC7 circulator which doesn't appear to be working. the impeller moves freely when I spin it manually but when there is power tot he device all I hear is humming but the impeller doesn't turn even though it does not appear to be stuck. Also, oddly I can not find my...
I have an intermittent high pitched whine on a boiler of just over 2 years old (which I think is the pump).
I can't seem to find a direct replacement and in any event is there another better alternative ?
Hello everyone,
I have a problem, to which there is probably a simple solution but I can't see the wood for the trees.
I swapped out an old Grundfos pump for the new one. Gone is the lovely old silver button on the front where you can bleed the pump and now we have more bells and whistles. But...
When a pump is switched off does circulating water stop immediately? In other words, is there a bypass within in the pump to allow the water to slow down to a stop?
Thanks for any advice
