Greetings. I have an external Worcester Bosch Heatslave boiler and have a question about pressure. The boiler pressure was set to 1.5 during a recent visit by a plumber (as it seemed to have dropped and was hovering between the green and red zone) . A few days later I turned the thermostat down so the boiler turned itself off and immediately went to check the pressure gauge and it was at 1.5. I then left it 10 mins and then went to recheck the gauge again and it had fallen to about 1.25. I know that the pressure changes if the boiler is active or not but if the gauge was set to 1.5 during the plumbers visit (boiler not active), would this be the pressure you would expect it to default to again when rechecked when inactive some days later? Many, many thanks for your advice.

Be aware that dependant on the configuration of the pipework there can be a difference of plus or minus .25 bar depending on whether the pump is running or not when you check the guage.
