hi all
just thought i would ask the question to see what brand inhibitor and other water treatments you use for your heating sytems. also is there a diffrence between them say fernox and sentinel or even screwfix own brands. i personaly use sentinel and wondered weather i would be better off changing.

Sentinel or fernox, which ever takes my fancy at the time or on offer. Probably use sentinel more though.

I use sentinel. If I was going to use fernox, I'd buy a cheaper one, as it seems they make everyone else's chemicals!

Fernox F3 cleaner and F1 inhibitor especially from PTS as part of their scheme. Ebay turns up job lots of Fernox at interesting prices occasionally.
