UK Total maintenance servicing contract - Anyone heard of them

Hello to you all,

Apologies if not in the correct forum but thought its worth putting around in the private forum.

It's not strictly a proper gas work query but is still linked in a looser sense to gas work.

The company have offered me a potential servicing contract on 500 LLGSC's servicing on a rolling 12mth contract subject to terms.

The catch is not surprisingly the upfront fee :rolleyes2:- £2100 with the next year being a 10% cut on monies earned per service/CP12.

Not heard of the company per se but looking for advice.

Sounds possibly too good to be true but thought I would run past you all first to either give you a laugh or to advise me on the company & whether to find out more.

I am happy enough with the 10% fee they would collect on each service/CP12 instead of the money up front approach.

I will open it up to you guys,

This shy te has been running for years and years now and yet i bet there are 1 or 2 a week still get caught with it. I wish i'd have thought of it

This is a total con ! DO-NOT part with any money, this has been running for over 10 years, keep changing Co name but always based in Scotland, somehow they use some sort of loophole in the law that allows them to keep trading see its gone up to 500 property's now.

good concept having a company that brings all the trades together in a single package for the customer, but alas there are always the scrotes that ruin it by ripping everyone possible off,

Just to update you all.

Spoke to them yesterday when they phoned.

Mentioned that paying up front for a referral contract service with a company I have never heard of was not acceptable to me and that i would be unable to go that way.

They were not confrontational or arsey which made a pleasant change.

I also mentioned that i was happy for both of us to trial run each other for say 20 - 30 jobs over the coming months to see how each other operated and build up a working relationship which they were receptive to but i will not be holding out or depending on that.

It would be good to have a contract like that but i would not be willing to get messed around or work for peanuts.

Ask them for propper addresses of jobs.

They haven't got any! Please don't be fooled by them or any other name they have been in the last 5 years.
