Just thought I would mention that we won the Ashes back with a score of 5 - 0.

I always thought we would win, not by 5 - 0.

Any thoughts, taunts, abuse or even excuses will be gladly excepted and expected.

Please feel free to reply!!

PS: Please don't swear - Croppie will close the thread.

you may have won the ashes but you don't get the trophy only a copy

and next time round it will probably come back here after all only one team out of two can win

I might close the thread anyway. Cannot abide smugness.

Unless we win..........

us poms have a policy,

if your going to loose then do it in style!!

5-0 - 5-4 makes no difference lol.

Fair play to ya, especially after what I said about you convicts back in the summer.....how come its taken you so long to gloat eh...,

Best team won, its the way it goes. The last two one dayers and 20/20s will go the same way. Australian cricket is in the ascendency while English cricket is in the crapper.

Just to remind you.... or rub it in...

And as for the trophy.... that is justifiably too precious to send our way... much like the people of the country where the Trophy...........

You can't lose The Ashes 5 - 4.

Its out of 5 matches. The best you guys could have hoped to lose is 3 - 2.

But I suppose 3 - 2, 4 - 1 or as it turned out 5 - 0 ....you still lost.

Commiserations...

Hello, my HW is taking longer than expected to heat up and it's getting worse. I can go 10-40 degs after 1.5 hours of only heating HW, whereas I should be going 10-60 degs in 30-40 mins by my maths. Don't even mention trying to heat HW and CH at the same time. 30 mins with the immersion adds...

Hi ladies and gents, Just thought I'd give you a laugh. As some of you are aware, I'm currently the owner of a newsagent's shop out in the sticks in Italy. Very long story, but I didn't want to close an 80-year old business if I didn't have to. It was never part of the plan and I intend to...
