The right of reply or right of correction generally means the right to defend oneself against public criticism in the same venue where it was published. In some countries, such as Brazil, it is a legal or even constitutional right. In other countries, it is not a legal right as such, but a right which certain media outlets and publications choose to grant to people who have been severely criticised by them, as a matter of editorial policy.
I keep getting this message every time I reply to a post.
The only way round it is to use 'snip and sketch' and post my reply as an attached file (like below).
Any solutions?
We had a plumber fitting a shower pump a few moths ago. We had recently moved to a house in which the shower pump that was already fitted wasn't working. The hot water pressure was really bad so we looked for a plumber to fit a new shower pump. The plumber highlighted that the work done...

Hello to the forum, I just thought I would share this response from GAs-safe.. I had occasion to suspect that an install was dangerous by a non qualified engineer in a commercial kitchen where people are working so I alerted gas safe to the fact , I guess that was a mistake but the reply is...

When you reply to a post that we might be pulling for offensive content, we then need to go and check your replies, and see if anybody has quoted the...
Is this common where a plumber will come out and then fail to send through a quote for work?
I have called a few plumbers and they have said they would call back to arrange a time but have not and two have come out and failed to get back to me with a quote.
Strange behaviour.
Lads , most of you do , those that dont please use the “reply” button , then I /we can reply back, with a “like” or whatever .
Just as a example ...
I noticed by accident that @YorkshireDave had replied to one of mine yesterday , If I hadnt gone back to the thread I wouldnt have known ...
I have now contacted 3 different gas engineers by either email or web form asking for a quote for a job at my daughter's house in East Bowling, Bradford. On all 3 occasions I have had no reply from the business I contacted. In fairness, I have had the same (lack of) response for requests for...
Okay, so it seems we have been closing threads, banning members, generally annoying them and being rude to them, when somebody is asking to repair a boiler or whatever when they shouldn't be.
So rather than do that, which A) looks unprofessional, B) stops them asking about a bath in the future...
Oh Mr moderator
When pointing out Forum rules perhaps you should read them yourself!!!
Please be reminded that if your reply can't help the original poster, it may be seen as pointless and taking the thread off topic. Please make sure what you are about to post is in-keeping with the forum...
Having problems with a designer column radiator that I bought. To cut a story short, it gets hot, all columns are hot to touch, tip, middle and bottom but it doesn't heat the room at all. After about an hour all other rooms are hot but the one with the column rad is cold even though it is hot to...

Hi
I have a 12 year old Warmflow 70/90 oil combi boiler. It was working fine until I found a leak from the flow switch pipe coupling. I attempted to tighten this and proceeded to snap the coupling resulting in a cold shower for me. After turning off the water and cleaning up I established that I...
