Hi can anybody suggest the best way to fix a bowl to a stone floor without taking the bowl out and bor-ing new holes, Cheers

How long is it going to need to be there, and does it matter if the floor & bowl get damaged on removal???
If it's a temp fix and the floor & Bowl condition weren't important (ie, being tiled and new suite), then perhaps gripfill or similar would do it.

Horrible stuff if you need to get it off again though, and definitely not a permanent fix :)

Just a few days/week until i can do it properly, Screws have come loose and fixings have probably gone so i was wondering if there was any tips with screws etc i could use in meantime

Good old clear silicone, a bead right round. Cut it off later.

Couldn't you bed it on some plumbers mait? Atleast it will wipe up, or you could pack it off the wall with a small timber box frame and fix the cistern to it?

If the stone's dry, I'd use silicone, and the WC wont move the next day. Ordinary acetic kinds can stain stone, so use a neutral cure if you have a tube in your kit.

plumbers gold, put in hot water for a few mins and squirt into screw holes then around the foot.

Hi guys. I'm trying to identify a toilet model before ordering a seat for a customer. I went to what used to be a Roca stockist (they no longer are) and one of the guys there reckoned it might be "The Gap". I went to the new stockist and the guy there disagreed it was "The Gap" and that he'd...
