Anyone recommend a decent one? I had one and binned it because it gave false readings and was rubbish. I'd like a really good reliable one that works!

There is a Bosch one for roughly £79 but it gets very mixed reviews. Ultimate Handyman seems to have some look with this powerful magnet for studwork.

I was drilling holes all day today in an old wall with the gas meter and electric box etc on it for battons. Just blind luck I didn't hit anything or game over. Not good.

Can anyone recommend a decent multi meter, preferably under a 100 pounds. It's for checking boiler components so I don't need a top spec one ....just easy to use and reliable. The fluke 115 looks good but its above my budget. My current socket and see one was great but it's developed a fault.
