hi guys can i pick your brains? i have a potterton gold combi.
last night the boiler tripped the electric. i found some heating system water leaking from the diverter value- motor unit and assembly.
when i removed the motor unit this morning i found where it fixed full of water which had made it way to the multi-pin plug which i think s made the short. i dry everything out and re fitted, but as soon as i started the boiler i had small water leakage backat the top of the valve assembly.
i didn`t find any washers or o-rings round the top of the valve assembly or bottom of motor unit.
are they missing or will i need a new valve assembly?
thanks guys

You should be gas safe registered before even taking the front cover off a boiler
