We will and with 2 years to go, the independence movement is still gathering momentum. Once all the cack about the date etc. is over the real case for independence can be put forward. I'm confident that in 2 years time the YES campaign will win over the people of Scotland.

the independance vote will depend on whether the next step after that is a republic and loss of the Monarchy, (or will president salmond hide the facts until the vote has been, surely a politicial will tell us the truth over something so important) there are too many who will not want that (I hope)

It's been made clear in all the media and every SNP independence statement that the Queen will remain as head of state in an independent Scotland. Sadly some are so blinkered by what team they support and religion to clearly think about the future of our nation.

Congrats on the expectant baby boy Stan. Great news. It's hard to buy a house here. I've only managed it by begging, borrowing and brown nosing. Even then it was hard.

I'm around the same age as you and I know what it's like. I considered Canada and Australia, but looks like I'm staying put now.
