hi lads called to price a boiler exchange today bg £3200.00 quote boiler located in kitchen vertical flue passing through metal roof looks straight forward just wondering if anyone fitted flue through metal roof before roof has slight ridging to it but flat plate fitted where original flue passes through roof. this is a x council property full street flat metal roofs cheers for any advice and wisecracks .

Find a cladding contractor, profiles not all the same. For £200 they would probably fabricate and fix flashing.

also be extra careful, as these types of props tend to have asbestos lurking behind stuff.

General rule of thumb is we can make a good profit by just halving BG quotes - but
maybe I am over simplyfying the issue centralheatking

them look just the job cheers for that going on mon to measure up to make sure flue will pass through same position on roof as it is on too last. approx 40 bolts holding a12inch square plate down which original flue passing through cheers again
