The spindle on the LSV is leaking and I don’t fancy changing the valve for fear of starting with one leak and ending up with three! So, I am going to try the trick with Loctite 55 and wrap it around the spindle and put the nut back.
My question is, should I also use a dab of hawk white or perhaps a small amount of silicon grease, or will this have no benefit at all? I have all items at my disposal so that is not an issue. Is there even a better way that I haven’t already mentioned?

TIA

yep time to repack then just there maybe an oring on the spindle thats gone if not no need for any grease etc

Can you go any more and did you give it chance to dry?
I can perhaps try tightening it a bit more, but not sure if it is as realistically as tight as it is likely to get.
Not sure what you mean about giving it chance to dry? I tried it off with a tissue after tightening it up and it has certainly improved, but as I say it is still slightly weeping.

If it’s tight I would say time to pack
