I had a plumber fit a new mono block kitchen tap. The water runs very slowly now. Also, not sure if this is to do with it, but my hot water doesn’t get as hot as it did with my old tap.
Anyone help?

Cylinder or combi boiler ?

Valve shut , flex twisted should be the same pressure as the cold then so could be installation error or faulty fitting best call the installer back

Any chance of a picture of the pipework under the sink top to see if the flexi hoses are twisted, or a valve not fully open?

I’d say it sounds like a restriction in the tap spout. If you’re on a combi boiler, and the water is not getting as hot as it used to, then basically you don’t have adequate water flow rate to activate the boiler for full power water heating

Hi bit of a weird issue, I installed a grohe bathroom tap successfully 2 months ago bought from screwfix. Last week the right hand hot tap makes a squeak noise as I turn it on or off, left tap is 100% perfect and noiseless. This grohe tap is like one unit, so no screw notch or way I can remove...

I have a plumber coming tomorrow to change a cartridge on a badly dripping tap on my bathroom mixer unit. There is no separate isolating valve for this tap so I'll have to close the stopcock. I tried closing it today but it won't go absolutely 100% closed and there is still a very slight flow...

Hi, Can anyone advise as to why the cold water to my bathroom keeps airlocking? This originally happened about 12 months ago and has happened 3-4 times since. It’s an upstairs bathroom, fed from a tank in the attic. The tank is about 8 Meters away and feeds a bath, sink and toilet. The tank...
