Hi All,

My first post, so please be kind. :) I have a mains fed electric shower. The shower head got clogged up with green 'rust'. Copper corrosion I guess? I ran the shower without the head on and lots came out and continues to. I guess I could fill a thimble with the stuff after a few minutes.

What can I do to solve this? The pipework also supplies the utility room,so should I be concerned about the appliances?

Thanks

most likely the appliance, how old it it? My guess is it is coming from the heating elements. meaning shower is a write off. There are a huge range of replacement showers that will cover the holes from this one though

Also, now you mention it, I have had to change the temperature setting recently, which I had assume was because of the reduced flow rate. Oh dear.
