Hi, i was called to a worcester combi with a blocked plate exchanger it had a green slime inside it was also in the rads the system is only 18 months old biocide did nothing has anyone ever used like a shock treatment like in a hot tub to kill whatever is growing. I've sent a sample away to have it analysed just wondered if it's OK and safe.

Is it not serious calcium buildup?
