Hey guys, Not very familiar with this/ these kind of boilers, (positive case) was wondering specifically what the job of the small impeller on top of he fan assembly is. Many thanks

Very unlikely. See 100s fan motors like this work perfect.

So, what you have done is broken it then. Lol
If that is the case, no biggie they do go brittle after a while. Fan will work fine without it

Hahah took the case off and about 4 pieces of it fell out of he casing. Does feel very Brittle.
