And get myself Gas Registered. After advertising for a gas fitter and offering nearly £32k a year I've had one applicant who it turns out wasn't gas registered lol. If gas fitters can earn more than that employed I am looking forward to being qualified!

Off on my course in April and will just take the hit and get my portfolio built up by paying the gas fitter I work with currently to come and watch me do the job! That way I will stay in my business and hopefully bag some heating systems and he can earn some easy cash.
 
In my personal opinion that is the best thing to do. This way you will be able to do the work yourself and not solely rely on someone else.
