Hi guys was wondering do any of yous know do the suppliers still sell the old danfoss ebi transformer used on bentone or sterling burners? Some other guy in the last 6 mths changed oil pump and electrodes and leads. Now getting no spark at all but oil isnt a problem. Im in n.ireland if any of the guys know of any locals that do. Hwos might do a diff make that might do but need it in a hurry, thanks in advance .

Yes. They are same transformer (just slightly different design I believe).
You can get them in Bassetts or I think Plumbcentre. Whereabouts roughly are you?
There are other places also

Not sure who is close to you, but have you ever tried Newtowards for Bentone burner spares?
Think he might still be there on Francis Street. Willy All Spares

No never heard of him. Im not to bad for getting spares ajs are in ballynahinch although they only stock eh and es nozzles nowadays. Lisburn and downpatrick only 10 miles away for bassetts and parts center close enough to

If he is still there I would advise you call and see him. He is an agent for Worcester boilers and particularly Bentone parts.
EH and ES nozzles will do most boilers except 35sec

I just looked him up and he is still there - Allspares Newtownards
Trust me, he is quite a character

Thanks for the bother Best always good to know of somewhere new

Glad to help you Tickdoc. The man that runs the place has been around a long time & very decent when you get to know him. Good prices to the trade. He keeps stuff others don't.

Kept trying to sell me stuff I didn't want or need.

Think he just wanted shot of it.

He had plenty of the odds & ends for Bentone burners etc when I saw his shop, to be fair to him. Very easy to judge him wrong though, as he can seem unfriendly at first.
