Hi all,

Is the Concord WRS still serviceable/parts available?

Have one in the house that I don’t really want to get rid of just get it serviced. Really don’t want someone coming out and saying it’s obsolete and condemning it! 😃

Thanks all.

Concord WRS is really very old. I took mine out 20 years ago..my youngest son was in his first year. It was at the end of its life then.
They are balanced flue with pilot light. You could look at ignite heat spares to see if they carry any parts. The thermo is a standard one
..about £10.00. The inside is cast iron with water pathways as wide as the M6. But hey if it works carry on. centralheatking

I took one out of my parents house about 5 years ago. Can still get some bits at that point. Things like sight glass seal would be hard to get. Gas valve, ignition etc was still being stocked in my independent heating spares place at that time.

Hi. I need a new toilet supply line but don’t know the size type of the fitting at the shut off valve. It is not 3/8 compression. It is a plastic nut about the same size as the one going into the cistern but has a different thread. Attached is a photo. Can you advise. Thanks.

Copper pipes, I think its fair to say, is not what it used to be, the copper is getting thin while the cost is going up. Meanwhile, plastic Pushfit seems to be getting better and better, cost and convenience was always better, but now the quality is to, have we reached a stage where plastic will...
