BG assesments

Being short of work, I thought I would try the BG contract route. I am due to go to an assessment day on Wednesday, and wondered if any one could offer any current advice. There is apparently 25 multi choice questions plus a service and breakdown task. Has anyone done this recently - what should I be mugging upon? Thanks in anticipation.

dont forget to leave the mandatory gas leak and dodgy flue on any task

learn to suck air through your teeth, and then announce it needs a powerflush and magnaclean

Safety, OF testing, IUP, and also electrical isolation, google socket & see, that's their preferred tool for safe isolation and checks

Think about their No:1rule to protect them from being sued by their customer, so always act to save the company

You dont need to be fully busy or anti bg to see that they have some faults ! Theyve been known for numerous faults or problems ! But it all boils down to people need a wage at the end of the day ! Im sure you will do fine on your assesment !

Having reviewed the posts and my comments - I apologise to Kirk. I was a bit irritated by the tone of the responses, and yes - BG do have some issues - but so do plenty of indies IMHO. I wrote the comment sometime after reading them, and shot from the hip. Again, I am sorry, Kirks post was actually constructive.

Care to enlighten
A) what my background is
B) why it would cloud my opinion on what is no more than a large gas contractor, no better or worse than others at certain things, as each company big down to small has its strengths and weakness
