Getting more than a little fed up with it. Ok DIY plumbers and potchers are out there, just don't do us the diservice of telling us you don't trust us and we're all crap then ask us how to do our jobs!

My customer told me he wanted me to remove a radiator and clean it with brick acid for him, went off his head when I told him I didn't think it was a good idea, that was today!

you just read my response to the op asking about his oil boiler who then tells us how he doesnt trust us to do a good job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perhaps we do a good enough job of belittling our own trade without blaming the public.

I could give examples regarding the sponsors of this forum, but will probably have Mr. Doberman on my case.

I know it's difficult, but as mods we just have to rise above all the C R A P and other stuff that gets thrown at us every day. The vast majority of the guys are decent and respect the fact that if we didn't give up our (precious and short) free time to moderate this forum, then it would not be the forum that it is and would degenerate into chaos.

A wee bit like Prime Ministers question time.

You know what this forum needs......a really good belly laugh night. It's getting too damn serious on here at times. That's why I'm putting the One Night Only thread back on every Saturday night at the end of each month so we can all let our hair down (even the baldy ones) and get all the moaners and whingers to join in.
