Apprenticeships

I was looking for 3 years since i left school i sent out numerous letters and c.v's only way i got my apprenticeship was to just keep trying and trying asking around though when looking i found that most companies take on in summer around the college year end and start i started mt apprenticeship in may 2012 and started my course September
KNow its probably not much use just thought id share.
